Just wanted to update those still following ThumbsOut. I will be moving back to Alaska from Wisconsin as soon as the 1st of January, 2013. I am excited to announce this as it has enabled me to fulfill a huge goal of mine. I will be working for a Design Agency in Anchorage, and will continue to work on the ThumbsOut project over the winter, and through the next year.
Moving Back to Alaska for the New Year!

Using Instagram as a Way to Connect Creative Minds: Pilgramers
These guys take the social media app Instagram to a whole new level. They call themselves Pilgramers and to my understanding they are a group of 4 guys using Instagram to bring creative minds together by traveling around and meeting, collaborating and sharing their photos. Here is a good youtube link to a video of how they do it.

5,300 miles to Alaska and more
The last three and a half months I have spent hitchhiking from Southeastern Wisconsin to various locations in Alaska covering over 5,300 miles. I spent 25 days on the road getting to Alaska and then spent most of the time commercial fishing in the Cook Inlet and Prince William Sound. I documented the entire trip through video and photos and will be working on more filming and editing over the next twelve months as I begin my next adventure of searching for a graphic design job. Here are a few photos from my trip, and you can see more at thumbsoutalaska.com
